One of the things that I love most about attending seminars is hearing people's stories. Everyone has their own reason for wanting to set up an online business.
For some, it's the pull of being their own boss and working on their own terms.
For others, it's the push of a job they can't bear and a lifestyle they want to change.
For a few people though, it's not much of a choice. They might have lost their job or seen their business go downhill. They're hoping that online publishing will get them back on track and in a way that suits them better than anything they've done before.
They might not realize it now, but those people are very lucky.
My AdSense strategies aren't a get-rich-quick-scheme. They're a get-rich-with-time-and-hard-work-scheme. You can't expect to put up a website on Monday morning and see a six-figure income by Friday evening. Your first few months, maybe even your first year or two might not see you earning a very high income. It all depends on how hard you work, the quality of your content and the speed with which you implement my strategies.
When big results don't roll in right away, there's often a temptation to give up and try something else.
That's only possible when there's something else available.
For people who, for whatever reason, have no other job to turn to, the only option is to push on until they see the big bucks. That makes it more likely that they'll get there.
When the Internet bubble burst in 1999, my income fell through the floor. I had to lay off my entire staff. It hurt. It would have been very easy at that point to have sold my domains, pulled on a suit and headed out to the corporate world.
But I didn't. I plugged on and was rewarded with more success than ever before.
If you're just starting out and wondering why you're not seeing the results you want and whether you're on the right track, take courage. Keep at it, do it right and you'll see the rewards.

Joel,
Thanks for the on-going info.
Sometimes this business can become overwhelming. I get so many affiliate offers every day that I don't know which ones are real or which ones are BS. I've been burned a few
time with Great Sounding Ad copy, got out my credit card, and wasted money. What
would you consider a GREAT
AFFILIATE PLAN THE "Average
Affiliate" could use to start making money? Trusting YOU now...

Joel,
I just signed up for your system. I'm fed up with the corporate world, yet I have a huge nut three kids in or ready to go to college. I have a flexible scheldule however to contribute time and effort into this system. The million dollar "Q"is where do I start and how do I stay on track. I have spent the last six months getting my feet wet so to say made about $2000 and spent about $3500. Being focused and staying on a system is what I lack. Is this system I signed up for have this guidance, but more importantly is it a system I can eaasily follow without getting side tracked with advertisements for countless numbers of good but distracting things?
