What I discovered this weekend

I am currently in Los Angeles attending Armand Morin's Big Seminar, an Internet marketing conference unlike any I have previously attended. This is Armand's sixth conference of this nature (he does them bi-annually) and you can tell that he really loves what he does. There are over 400 people here and the atmosphere is absolutely electric. It is a top-notch, classy operation. From the hotel to the speakers to the food and everything in between, Armand demonstrates how to execute a successul conference by providing fantastic value. This was my first, but I'm certain I will be back for others.

While I learned a good many things this weekend, one of the most surprising was to see how many people already knew me. I ran into one person after another who had read my AdSense ebook, and had something to ask me or a story to tell. Even more surprisingly, many of my ebook readers also keep up with my blog!

So, to all you "lurkers" who frequently read but never comments, I thank you for your support.

I've met many tremendous people this weekend. From the highly prolific world-class copywriter Michael Fortin and the inspirational Alex Mandossian to the up-and-coming marketers eager to build their own Internet empires, such as Ed Mercer and Steve Stonestreet, it has been a superb weekend of meeting interesting people and learning new ways to build my Internet business.

I'm sure I will be banging the drum for the next Big Seminar when it rolls around this summer.

Hi Joel- that was a BIG seminar, wasn't it?

I didn't get a chance to say Howdy this time, but I'll see you in April, at the next one.

    Cool blog- I'm impressed.
