Visiting Family

Posted on November 24, 2003 10:24 PM by Joel Comm

Today the four of us hopped on a plane to Illinois, where we are visiting my family in the North Shore suburbs. We'll be here all week. However, my mom is watching the kids Tuesday and Wednesday, so Mary and I are heading downtown to enjoy a couple days and nights in the great city of Chicago.

I hope to post movie #14 in my list of Best Movies Ever in the next day or two, but I may be preoccupied with being offline. ;-)

    Chicagoooooo, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Would this make you a Chicago Blackhawks fan or does the game of hockey even mildly interest you? There's a great Blackhawks email list at Plaidworks.com where B'hawk fans from around the world get together to discuss anything to do with the B'hawks. If I were in Chicago I'd be making at trip to the United Center, unfortunately the team is out of town this week on a roadtrip, San Jose on Wed. night. And, Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington would be a must visit sometime on the weekend! Enjoy your week!

I'm actually not a Blackhawks or a hockey fan. I occasionally follow the Bears and the Cubs, but I don't have much inclination or time for sports.

It's funny you mention Willow Creek as we discussed visiting there Sunday morning!
