I've been a fan of UStream.tv ever since I discovered them a little over a year ago.
Every Wednesday, I do a live show with my co-host Dan Nickerson. It's called Joel Comm LIVE!
UStream has proven to be innovative as they continue to add cool features for broadcasters, including the ability to bring in co-hosts from other locations, add titles and also play YouTube or local videos within your program.
About a month or so ago UStream released an app that would let you view their programming on your iPhone, provided you were on a local area network.
Well a week ago I was invited to test out the best of their broadcast app that would allow you to send llive video to UStream using the iPhone's camera!
I was able to test this out today and I am very pleased with the results.
Here is a screen shot taken while I was broadcasting. It's a basic interface, but I'm sure there will be more options.

Check out a few minutes of my test stream.
Oh, and UStream is now playing pre-roll advertisements. So watch it and I make a few pennies. Yippee.
From the UStream site, it appears that you can download the app if your iPhone is jailbroken.
However, my iPhone is NOT jailbroken and I was able to install the app given to me with no problems.
I am certain I will be using the live UStream.tv broadcaster via my iPhone. Stay tuned!

This is interesting but I downloaded the ap just now and there was no way to make the iPhone record video that I could see.
What did you do to make it work?
