TwitPWR.com

It's been assumed that the more followers you have on Twitter, the more power you have.

However, I think true Twitter power comes from the ability to have your followers follow your links.

That's why I am not using TinyURL to shorten my urls any more. I am using Twitpwr.com.

Dan and I discussed this new site on Joel Comm LIVE! today.

We also answered questions and revealed our new iPhone application.

  3. Warren Whitlock Says:

    I'm fascinated by the idea that people will use a service that gives them a chance to rank on a scoreboard.

    Great psychology.. exactly what @JimKukral called "all bloggers are vain" today on http://TwitCastRadio.com

    You mentioned "I think true Twitter power comes from the ability to have your followers follow your links." .. Really? I always thought there was true social media power that came from a network of people working together and sharing information.

    For the work you have to do to engage and keep followers, I hope you want more than traffic to your links. After all, traffic can be bought for a few cents a click... relationships with people that trust you takes a bit more effort.. and it's worth it.

    I love the promotion for this.. and think TwitPwr is a useful tool and network builder. Can I interview you about the promotion on our Twitter radio show?

    @WarrenWhitlock

    Love the idea. I've been using it for a few days now and it's fun trying to get top rankings.

    I'd love for you to integrate this with one of the WP to twitter plugins.
