The Amazing Race - Season 5

The Emmy Award-Winning "Amazing Race" has not been victorious in the ratings race. In fact, there was a question of whether or not CBS would bring it back for another season. I am thrilled to announce that they have indeed renewed the show and the premiere of Season 5 is to take place on July 6th. My Tivo will be capturing every moment.

Eleven teams of two, bound by some sort of relationship (father/son, best friends, married couple, etc...) will take a whirlwind tour of the world, heading to exotic destinations and dangerous places. They will be required to carry out challenging tasks and thrilling adventures in pursuit of finishing the race and winning $1,000,000. It is accomplished through process of elimination, with the last team arriving at the predetermined leg being eliminated from the competition.

This show outclasses all the other reality shows. Not only do we get to look in on the dynamics of the relationships and get to know the players as they go through the game, but we get to see locations that most of us will probably never see with our own eyes.

It's a great ride and I am ready to join in the fun.
