Great blog Joel,
I just got the book because I currently have one maxed out credit card which I am paying down as I can, but it's a tough road and it does interfere with my online business sometimes, but overall, I'm on the road to getting my financial life back on track so I can run my business with a clear head. As for my credit card, I will be cutting way back on using it and won't use it at all unless I know I can pay it off and only for things that will make me more money in return (such as reliable advertising for a site that's already making me money). I will also keep a very close eye on my budget and anything I put on my credit card will be taken from the appropriate category and put into the category called "credit card". I will be implementing this right away, but for now until my credit card is paid off, I will be treating this category like any other category except it's a rate based on the credit card's minimum payment rather than a percentage of income (but of course, the excess from the other categories at the end of the month will be put toward the debt in addition to the monthly minimum)

I have my credit card linked to automatic debit in my bank account. In other words, my bank gives me 45 days interest free time before debiting me on the privious 45 days of expeses. This way I can have more money working for me longer :-).
