Over the years I have spoken at a number of Internet marketing and personal development conferences.
The one question I am asked again and again is "when are you going to hold you own conference?"
The time has arrived!
On October 24-26, 2008, I am going to welcome fifty (50) people to join me for a 3-day event in Denver, Colorado.
It's called "Elevate 2008"
What is going to take place at this event? Continue Reading

Earlier this year I had the privilege of welcoming Dave Woodward to Colorado for an interview. Dave was filming a series called "Legendary Marketers" and he had asked if I would be a participant. The series would visit successful marketers at their homes (and office in my case) to give the viewers a better sense of who we are and what we do. I was thrilled at this opportunity and am even more pleased with... Continue Reading

I was all set. Today was going to be the day. I knew from the pre-orders on my new book, "Click Here to Order: Stories of the World's Most Successful Internet Marketing Entrepreneurs", that we were on the verge of making history with an instant best-seller. And then... it happened. I received a call from my publisher, David Hancock. David is not one to be given to overexcitement, but there was something in the sound... Continue Reading

I've been frustrated lately. Here's the thing... As you know, I speak at a number of conferences. At these conferences, I teach people how to make money online and many of them purchase one of my products to help them build their online business. I know that what I teach works and that the products I offer have value. I know this because I receive testimonials from people all the time. But its the ones... Continue Reading

I'm currently in Los Angeles for the annual Book Expo America, otherwise known as BEA. Why BEA? I have a book coming out on August 1st and I showed up to support my publisher and do some networking. Now I must confess. I am a trade show junkie. I love the vast conference centers with aisles and aisles of vendors hawking their goods and services. I'm especially a sucker for the freebies and swag. What is it that makes successful people stand out from the crowd? Or perhaps I should ask the question this way... What are the things that successful people DO that everyone else does not do? I believe we are all dealt a hand in life. On very rare occassion that hand is stacked with a full house, but in most cases we're fortunate if we are dealt a pair of twos. And whether or not... What is the definition of true success?
Is it having a large bank account?
Is it having a garage full of cars?
