iPhone Review

Posted on September 1, 2007 12:34 AM

I did it. I bit the bullet and picked up an iPhone. I've been a faithful Treo 650 user for two years, but the buzz regarding Apple's new device won me over. So I ponied up $599 + shipping and tax to get one of these puppies in my hands, though I was unsure of what I would find once I actually got to try it out for myself. I may now render the verdict... Your Blog is Your Platform

Posted on March 26, 2007 08:14 AM

Everything has changed. I remember when I first discovered computers. I was in high school when Radio Shack came out with their TRS-80 Model I personal computer. I remember going to the store and staring at it... ogling it... feeling the power of its keyboard... Hey, I guess I just wasn't into girls yet. That time came along eventually as well. ;-) Oh, those were the days. Continue Reading

Seize the Internet Opportunity

Posted on November 28, 2006 12:38 AM

The information age really does move at the speed of light. Technology is advancing faster than we ever conceived possible. I've been online for 26 years now. In 1980, I bought my first computer, a TRS-80. This machine had 4K of RAM (not 4MB... 4K) and a cassette player that was used as a storage device. There wasn't even a floppy disc drive! I owned a 300 baud modem that I used to dial into... Continue Reading

Democrats in Their Own Words

Posted on October 10, 2005 12:34 AM

All you hear from the liberal democrats these days is "Bush lied... no weapons of mass destruction... Get out of Iraq... Saddam was not tied to terrorists... etc and so forth." I came across this series of quotes from the beloved liberal leadership that should make anyone who has supported them in the past go "hmmmm" Their own words nullify their objections with this administration, and make clear that they have absolutely no platform to... Posted on August 12, 2005 10:58 AM

Tupperware. The word just flows from the mouth like margarine, conjuring images of neighborhood wives gathered around the living room discussing the latest method of food storage and preparation. While the Tupperware Party is still around, the Internet has paved the way for virtual Tupperware parties! And the Tupperware business opportunity to riper than ever. So where do Tupperware consultants go to discuss the ins and outs of the Tupperware business? BurpIt.com, or course! The... Continue Reading

What Democrats said about Weapons of Mass Destruction

Posted on September 1, 2004 12:29 PM

Amazingly, there are still liberals and democrats repeating the "Bush lied about WMDs" mantra. Let's put it to rest once and for all. Before we went to war in Iraq, what did DEMOCRATS say about the connection between Saddam and WMDs? "One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb... Random Thoughts

Posted on February 27, 2004 12:00 AM

Odd thoughts that have intersected my mind... If you owned your own soccer replica jersey you could "bend it like beckham. This would be a good thing. If you liked soccer. I don't. Which is worse? Bunions or plantar warts? Shopping online has brought new meaning to buying stuff over the counter. Lets face it. Who wants to go to a clerk and ask for dandruff shampoo or feminine hygeine products? I always tell Mary... Continue Reading
