The Heart Kids Tweet-a-thon

Posted on September 4, 2008 10:06 AM

There's nothing better than welcoming a new child into the world and your family. Being a father of two, I can tell you that the health and welfare of your children is the utmost priority. We had a bit of a scare when our daughter was born and spent the first few days of her life wondering when she would be able to come home from the hospital. It all turned out well, but some... Posted on July 31, 2008 11:40 PM

I knew from the pre-orders on my new book, "Click Here to Order: Stories of the World's Most Successful Internet Marketing Entrepreneurs", that we were on the verge of making history with an instant best-seller. And then... it happened. I received a call from my publisher, David Hancock. David is not one to be given to overexcitement, but there was something in the sound... Continue Reading

Day 17: A Bite of the Big Apple

Posted on October 21, 2003 09:15 PM

We had a horrible night at the Quality Inn in Lyndhurst, NJ. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the odor was there just the same. I went to the front desk and they gave me an ionizer to use in the room. We gave it a shot, but it didn't do the trick and the odor was giving Mary a headache. It was late and the kids were already falling asleep, so... Continue Reading

Glenn Beck's "The Real America"

Posted on August 13, 2003 12:42 AM

Definitely the best thing to come along in talk radio since Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck is rapidly becoming the "must-listen to" host of the decade. Limbaugh is still the King of talk radio (sorry Howard Stern), but Beck brings a freshness that has been missing. Politically, he manages to hit the nail on the head again and again, giving voice to what many of us already think and believe, but with an insightful approach that... Continue Reading

Weapons of Mass Destruction Found?

Posted on August 10, 2003 10:55 AM

Apparantly, the Bush administration is going to be making a big announcement regarding WMDs in September. This article discusses how they will be revealing evidence of Biological weapons to the public mid-month. The "where are the weapons of WMD? Bush lied" attacks by the raving liberals have not really done much damage to the President, much to their chagrin. But this will be the final nail in the 2004 re-election coffin for the democrats if... Continue Reading

A dot.com story, Part IX: Peer Recognition

Posted on June 25, 2003 01:20 AM

We're picking up in part 9 of this ongoing series. To start at the beginning, visit the dot.com story archives One of the first things I did was to submit the site to every search engine, newsgroup and message board I could find. A Yahoo search displays 36 entries to WorldVillage sites. Of course, we were happy with the original one that helped launch our traffic. I'll never forget the thrill of receiving the coveted...
