What is hype?
From dictionary.com, one definition is "exaggerated publicity"
For example...
"The amazing super-duper fantasmagorical stapler can save thousands of dollars each year in lost time and help you lose 30 pounds in three minutes!"
Ok, that IS over-the-top hype.
What about where Internet marketing products are concerned?

There are lots of things to enjoy as an online publisher. There's the thrill of creating content. The pleasure of meeting friends at conferences. It was touch and go early this week as the shocking news hit the wires. News so terrifying, so insidious, and so darned ridiculous that many were questioning whether or not the pod people had taken over.
