We had a bit of a scare when our daughter was born and spent the first few days of her life wondering when she would be able to come home from the hospital. It all turned out well, but some... It is especially touching to hear my mom tell stories of her relationship with her sister. There have been a good many tears. Tomorrow we lay Joan to rest, and live will go on... Continue Reading

I signed up for the Stamps.com service many years ago, so I am able to wholeheartedly endorse their service. Basically, you can print postage on your own PC. They provide the software. You enter the shipping address and the weight of the package, along with the method you wish to use. (1st class, priority mail, media mail, etc...). Choose to print on a label or envelope, and voila! Use the following link to see their... Print Postage on Your PC" href="http://joelcomm.com/print_postage_on_your_pc.html">Continue Reading

We started the day at Ro and Kyle's Bed and Breakfast. What great people these two are, and what a blessing it was to spend the night with them, enjoying good food and conversation. They are planning on driving to Boston on this weekend to spend more time with us exploring the sites. We hit the road around noon and set course for the Boston area. We weren't in a hurry and figured that we... Continue Reading
