I rented Mystic River this week, as I have been wanting to see it ever since it received critical acclaim. M. Night Shyamlan is a modern day Alfred Hitchcock. To date, he has made several films, including Unbreakable (with Bruce Willis) and Signs (with Mel Gibson).
