The Seven Keys to Success

Posted on October 15, 2009 10:24 AM

I've got a question for you. What do you want to be when you grow up? No, I am not asking this question of children. Heck, as a child I went through a phase where I wanted to be a dentist. Nothing against dentists, but I can't even begin to imagine myself in that profession! You know, it's sad, but many people can't answer this question. I've accomplished a lot in my forty-five years, But... Continue Reading

How to Use Facebook

Posted on February 18, 2008 10:13 AM

I am finding Facebook to be a great tool for networking and connecting with people. Since I started using last fall, I have connected with old friends, family members, new associates and some pretty big names. With Facebook, you can make contact with people who might otherwise be very difficult to reach. I've added over 1000 friends, started a handful of groups and have discovered how to post items so others can see what I... Continue Reading

A Speedy Run through a Target Store

Posted on November 18, 2007 07:44 PM

Just got a Flip Video camera. It is a nifty little device. Great to carry anywhere. You never know when you'll come across something worth filming. Anyhow, I stopped through the local Target today and happened to have my Flip handy. This is the fastest I've ever gotten in and out of that store... without buying anything. Continue Reading

Yes, even I have a MySpace page. Anyhow, if you are wanting to know how to master the ins and outs of MySpace, here's a handy online guide to help you along. MySpace Revealed Continue Reading

PSP Help

Posted on June 4, 2006 01:25 AM

The Sony PSP is a handy little gadget. I've been getting a lot of entertainment mileage out of it while traveling miles across the country. It acts as a great diversion to pass the time on an airplane. From Hawaii to Orlando to Vegas, I've enjoyed playing Daxter and have just about finished the game. But the PSP is good for more than just playing games. Whether you want to listen to music, surf the... Continue Reading

The pioneering spirit of the Internet continues to inspire people to build a better mousetrap. Nowhere is that spirit better exhibited than in the now ubiquitous search engine known as Google. Dialup Accelerator

Posted on August 23, 2004 12:51 AM

It was just like any other day. I booted up my computer and started to check on my web sites. And as happens from time to time, my sites were not coming up quickly or at all. My first thought is that a server is down. I test another server and see that it is not communicating either. Now I start thinking my T1 to the office is down. So I apply the test to... Memorial Day

Posted on May 31, 2004 01:08 PM

For all who have gone before to ensure our freedom and libery, I offer you a heartfelt "thank you". Thank you for your sacrifice. It has not been in vain. Glenn Beck did an incredible audio essay on Vietnam, but it is very appropriate for a day such as today. It is ten minutes long and worth every second. Have a tissue handy. City of Heroes

Posted on May 17, 2004 01:23 AM

Call me Mr. Wonderful. No, its not Mary's pet name for me. And no, I don't have a super-inflated sense of self. Mr. Wonderful has been my alter-ego these past two weeks in City of Heroes, a massively multiplayer online game recently released by Cryptic Studios. The fictional location of Paragon City has had a difficult time lately. What with an alien invasion and several gangs of thugs battling it out for control of the... Continue Reading
