Money Does Grow on Trees

Posted on June 14, 2007 11:02 PM

Pssst. I've got a secret. Actually, I've got a LOT of secrets. Do YOU want to know the secret? No, not THAT secret. "That" Secret is the biggest bunch of nonsense served to the public on a shiny platter all year. But that's a topic for another newsletter. ;-) Continue Reading

Online Opportunity is Everywhere

Posted on September 27, 2006 01:08 AM

Are you overwhelmed? I don't know about you, but I can get involved in so many projects that I occasionally feel like my brain is going to explode. Someone get the duct tape! The reality of the situation is that there is more opportunity on the web than anyone can possibly grasp. You may already be succeeding online... ... or you may be struggling. I've been both places at various times in my life and... Continue Reading

Michael Jackson Not Guilty

Posted on June 14, 2005 03:45 AM

I'm not surprised, and ultimately, it doesn't affect me. By now you have heard that the jury in the Michael Jackson pedophile case have acquitted the accused on all counts. O.J. Simpson kills two people and gets away with it. The Menendez brothers kill and get away with it. Michael Jackson sexually abuses children and gets away with it. Once again, the jurors were willing pawns who behaved as putty in the hands of attornies... Continue Reading

America's Heart and Soul - My Comments

Posted on November 8, 2004 10:43 PM

Way back in July 2004, Disney released America's Heart and Soul without any fanfare. I reported about the release of the movie and indicated that I was eager to see it. While the film received virtually no screen time, it is now available on DVD. I finally viewed the movie tonight and I am perplexed as to why Disney did not put some promotion muscle behind this brilliant and inspiring picture! America's Heart and Soul... Continue Reading

Four More Years!

Posted on November 2, 2004 12:18 AM

A collective sigh of relief is heard across the fruited plains... George W. Bush is the first President to win a majority of the popular vote in 18 years. The Republicans have picked up seats in both the Senate and the Congress, as well as what appears to be a Governor's seat. It is a good day for America. Continue Reading

Beaver Creek, Day 2

Posted on July 14, 2004 10:01 PM

I'm wiped out. It's not that we did a LOT today, but combining the altitude with the activity seems to have taken its toll on me. We started the day with a complimentary breakfast at the lodge. Bread, cereal, fruit, etc. Then it was off to the Steve Jones Stables for horseback riding. We scheduled a one hour scenic ride. All four of us are a bit more seasoned riders than we were a few... America's Heart and Soul

Posted on June 28, 2004 11:40 PM

Now HERE is a movie that Americans need to see, and its not that anti-American Michael Moore propaganda. Opening at theatres nationwide on July 2nd is America's Heart and Soul, a Disney film full of inspiring stories and vignettes that reveal that REAL America and what makes it the best place in the world to live. Louis Schwartzberg set off for the fruited plains with his camera and the hopes of capturing what makes America... Continue Reading

Stubbed toe - $30,000

Posted on January 8, 2004 10:28 AM

Another great Walmart story brought to you courtesy of the "whats-in-it-for-me" crowd... A Mt. Pleasant Township couple wants Wal-Mart to pay for foot and toe injuries they claim were caused by canned goods and condiments that tumbled from an overfilled plastic grocery bag. According to a two-count civil lawsuit filed Wednesday in Westmoreland County, Brenda and Ronald Sager contend a plastic bag they brought home from the East Huntingdon Township store last month was deficient... It's a mink-eat-mink world

Posted on October 3, 2003 01:50 PM

This is hilarious! The wackos at Earth Liberation Front (E.L.F.), the criminals that are vandalizing SUVs and buildings in order to liberate the earth from the clutches of corporate greed are at it again. This time, their zany hijinks backfired. SULTAN, Wash. -- An animal rights group's plan to free 10,000 mink from a farm turned deadly after many of the emancipated mustelids became cannibals while others went on a carnivorous feeding frenzy. About 9,000... Continue Reading
