Last week the FTC dropped a bomb on the marketing world. They released new guidelines for the use of testimonials and endorsements in marketing. I immediately contacted my attorney, Kevin Houchin, to get his take on the latest guidelines. With Kevin's permission, I am republishing the entire text of his interpretation. It is essential that all marketers, online and offline, pay attention to this content. And understand that if you have ANY questions, you should... Continue Reading

Google is continually looking for ways to put the kabosh on click fraud. It is important that they protect the rights of their advertisers by making sure each click is an intentional click. That is, they want to be certain that the person clicking the ad is doing so deliberatel. Otherwise, the advertiser is paying for a visit that is not purposeful. So it has recently leaked out from a number of blogs that Google... Continue Reading

Citibank credit cards - I have them in my wallet.
Why Citibank? Because these are American Airlines Aadvantage credit cards, and I charge absolutely everything in order to earn as many air miles on American Airlines as possible. I do a lot of traveling and enjoy flying free or upgrading to First Class when I can.
But I am really upset with Citibank at the moment. Continue Reading

A week does not go by that I don't get an email from someone telling me that their AdSense account was closed. Most often, the email from the AdSense team starts with... "It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interest of the... Continue Reading

It probably isn't easy to get a job with Google. But Tom Vendetta was determined to secure a position with the search engine giant. According to a press release sent out via I-Newswire, this 15-year old boy was hired by Google, and his salary would be placed in a savings account for his future education.
Kudos to Tom!

Yes, people will talk. And the things they will say are quite interesting.
Ever since my AdSense ebook has come into the spotlight, my name has become more well known. Once your name is "out there", commentary and opinion is not far behind.
So how do you know when you have "arrived"? Continue Reading

Finally, a documentary about the left that I can't WAIT to see. This just in from Drudge... HBO MOVIE SHOWS RADIO 'AIR AMERICA' CHAOS HBO is set to air a behind the scenes look at the launching of liberal radio network AIR AMERICA. The DRUDGE REPORT has obtained a director's cut of LEFT OF THE DIAL, a grossly entertaining docu-drama of life on the other side of the AIR AMERICA microphone. The doubts. The lies... Say it isn't so! Imagine this if you will. Hillary Clinton's campaign finance director, David Rosen, did a big no-no. The indictment of David Rosen, unsealed in Los Angeles, focuses on his fund-raising for an Aug. 12, 2000, gala for Clinton in Los Angeles. The New York Democrat was still first lady at the time. While the event allegedly cost more than $1.2 million, the indictment said, Rosen reported contributions of about $400,000, knowing the... Continue Reading

The second Presidential debate took place this evening and President Bush took John Kerry to the woodshed on foreign policy and domestic issues. After an extremely disappointing first showing in last week's Miami debate, the President was focused, personable and knowledgable. Kerry came off as stiff, repetitive and a bit unsettled by Bush's strengths. The President made a strong case for the war in Iraq, the economy, the environment, stem cell research and numerous other... Continue Reading

Systematically deconstructing the lies of the Kerry campaign is a full time hobby for the people at CrushKerry.com. Scooping the media on the latest flip-flops, switcharoos and mainstream media hoo ha, this site is not only important, but loads of fun. We are on the verge of voting in the most important Presidential election of my lifetime (40 years old here...), and our nation can not, MUST not, elect John Kerry. On the upside, with...
