Posted on April 15, 2005 12:01 PM

I've been slaving away attempting to make sense of this thing we call the Internet. In order to put things in proper perspective, I have composed this paper which I hope will prove useful. Continue Reading

Investing in Legos

Posted on March 2, 2005 09:44 AM

A few years back, I was into selling on ebay big time. Since I am collector of old computer games, I found a market for like-minded collectors on ebay, reselling some of my $1 floppy disk software for as much as $50. It was a sweet deal. But I also learned a little bit about how the collector's market works on ebay, and I began looking out for retail products that would eventually become collector's... Continue Reading

A Memorial Day to remember

Posted on May 26, 2003 10:42 PM

What a great day to be an American! I want to personally say "thank you" to those of you who are veterans or are currently serving in our bold and proud armed services. I don't take my freedom lightly and am grateful for those who have sacrificed much for so many. As I was driving down I-35 today, there was a uniformed gentleman on the overpass at 15th street, waving an American flag and... Continue Reading

If you are just joining us on this story, you may wish to click here to read so far. Continuing... Those were the days of BBS's, bulletin board systems, where you would dial in to another computer with your blazing fast 2400 baud modem in order to post messages, download software and play text-based games online. It was also the time when AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy, GEnie and Delphi were battling it out to see who... Continue Reading

189 pounds

Posted on May 21, 2003 09:07 AM

I am eager to get past this leveling off in my metabolism. It's falling off a bit slower this week, but I remember this happening last time. It seems like I am going nowhere and then the bottom drops out and more pounds falls off quickly. I've been VERY good about my eating habits. I had some Thai food for the first time yesterday. It was a spicy chicken with white rice, bamboo shoots, carrots... Continue Reading
