Kindle Users Rejoice

Posted on August 15, 2008 09:21 AM

Amazon.com recently reported that they had sold nearly 250,000 Kindle units since the digital book reader launched in November 2007. This beats many analysts estimates and perhaps an indicator of where the book industry is headed. I am excited to announce that several of my books are now available in digital format for Kindle users! Here are the titles you can now enjoy on your Kindle... Continue Reading

Kindle Your Revenue Stream

Posted on February 5, 2008 12:17 AM

I'm a big fan of Amazon.com. I spend far too much money there but they also give me a fair bit of money too through book sales and affiliate links. I think they've done a fantastic job of selling products online and helping website publishers earn from their content. They might be the Walmart of Internet retailing, but they're definitely not the Apple of whiz-bang gadgetry. Their new Kindle book-reading machine is a great idea... Continue Reading

Get Google Pay-Per-Click Ads for Free

Posted on January 24, 2008 11:23 AM

"Get Google Pay-Per-Click Ads for Free" was the title on the report that promised an amazing way to advertise on Google AdWords without having clicks ding your wallet. This ebook was #1 on Clickbank's Marketing & Ads category, so curiousity got the best of me and I paid $97 to see what it was all about. Want my honest assessment? Read on... Continue Reading

Are You Ready to Take the Next Step?

Posted on April 21, 2007 12:22 AM

I like to think I've come a long way. It didn't happen overnight and it didn't come easily. But there's a world of difference between where I am now and where I was when I put up my first website. For one thing, I've now got more than one website. For another, I have a lot of speaking appointments, a small staff to help me and I've written a lot of books that -- best... Continue Reading

Build an Empire

Posted on November 18, 2006 11:27 AM

The business-in-a-box. You've heard of 'opportunities' like this before. Usually, all you get is a box... ... and no business. When Paul Smithson (of XSite Pro fame) approached me with his "Build an Empire" business-in-a-box, I was VERY skeptical. In fact, I ALMOST didn't it listen to what he had to say. However, when he mentioned an industry that I happen to know is one of the fastest growing industries next to digital music, he... Continue Reading

The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript

Posted on August 7, 2006 11:00 PM

I've gotten to know Mike Filsaime over the past year, and consider him a good friend. Not only is he an incredibly smart marketer, but he is a good-hearted guy who really wants to see people succeed. When Mike launched Butterfly Marketing earlier this year, he hit a huge run. Not only did he sell tons of copies of his course, but the results have been equally impressive. Testimonial upon testimonial of success stories find... Continue Reading

Affiliate Manager Deathmatch

Posted on June 20, 2006 01:06 PM

Did you know that I have been doing business online since 1995? Many people assume that I came out of nowhere with my AdSense training materials, but the fact is that I've been online creating profitable websites for eleven years now! (Wow, has it been THAT long?) One of the ways I generate revenue is with affiliate programs, that is, where I make a commission on products that I sell for OTHER merchants... Continue Reading

Edirol R-1 Digital Recorder for Podcasting

Posted on January 21, 2006 07:32 AM

When I was in Las Vegas, I spent a little time with Paul Colligan. Paul is an expert in Affiliate marketing. But recently he has began beating the drum for podcasting. Now admittedly, I have been slow to come to the podcasting table. However, after spending some time with Paul and Declan Dunn in Las Vegas, the light has turned on above my head. Ding! Voices of Iraq

Posted on October 25, 2004 03:41 PM

What would happen if you took 150 digital video camcorders to Iraq, handed them out to the people, and allowed them to film whatever they want? You get a film titled Voices of Iraq, an independent film hitting theatres October 29th. The filmmakers wanted to let the Iraqi people create the content for a documentary that would allow people to see what life is really like for those living in this war-torn nation. The producers... Buying a DVD Recorder

Posted on June 15, 2004 11:12 AM

A few years back, I purchased a Pioneer DVD recorder for my home PC. I enjoyed burning a handful of videos onto disc (home movies), but I haven't really gotten much use from the unit. Incompatibility problems, buggy drivers and other obstacles have made it a bit less attractive then when I first purchased it. I've had my eyes on a DVD recorder for my home theater ever since that time, pining for the day... Continue Reading

Tivo or not Tivo? No brainer!

Posted on January 6, 2004 12:05 AM

When I look back on the past few years of technological advancements, several computer-driven products cause me to wax eloquently. My iPaq 3835 has been a trusty PDA for almost two years. But it has lost its shine and there are newer models that have stolen my affections. My Dell laptop rocks, but in a mere few months I am certain its big brother will find me coveting at its front door. My Pioneer CD... Continue Reading

Day 20: Let Freedom Ring!

Posted on October 24, 2003 09:11 PM

It was another walk in the footsteps of our Founding Fathers. The city of Philadelphia is where the Declaration of Independence was composed and signed. We can trace much of that which makes America great to the heart of this old city. We started the day by hopping a bus downtown. If I had known how crowded the bus would have been, I think we would have taken a cab. Anyhow, we arrived downtown and... Continue Reading

I have met some very nice... Continue Reading

I'm Addicted!

Posted on May 12, 2003 11:05 PM

About 3-4 weeks ago, MrsMayor innocently surfed the web looking for a time-waster... a diversion, if you will. She succeeded by landing at PopCap Games. She remembered that I previously downloaded a game called Bejeweled, which has kept us both busy for countless hours. However, on this particular day, I found her playing a new game called Big Money. Folks, this game has done BOTH of us in! The kids will enter our office and... Continue Reading
