Just because the economy is suffering doesn't mean you have to.
Thousands of people are supplementing their income by learning how to make money online selling ebooks.
I've been selling my own ebooks for a few years.
But I've been selling OTHER peoples' ebooks for a decade!
How do you find out what ebooks sell? Continue Reading

I am blogging from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, where I am my family are awaiting an 8:55 pm departure to Oklahoma City. We've been here since 1 pm and our first flight was cancelled. With bad weather in Chicago and OKC, I'm not sure we're going to make it home tonight at all. Such is life, right? So I thought I'd make the best use of my time and write for a bit. In particular... I recently received an email from a reader lamenting how I have strayed from my political rants. Believe me, it's not for lack of material. Between the mainstream media's pathetic obsession with VP Dick Cheney accidently shooting a friend while hunting (don't get me started) and the never-ceasing parade of Democrat leadership attempting to undermine America, I could blog for hours on end. I have just become fed up with the lunacy and have focused... Continue Reading

My eyes! My eyes!
I've seen some heinous looking animals before, but this dog is clearly the most hideous creature on four legs. Continue Reading

By now everyone knows the news. It is a tragedy, without any doubt. Innocent people once again slaughtered at the hands of animals. And we knew this would happen. It was just a matter of time. Make no mistake. This was not an attack on London. This was an attack on Western Civilization, which these animals despise with every fiber of their being. Perhaps this will silence the Chucky Schumers, Howard Deans and Dick Durbins... Continue Reading

Silly fun. That's my two word review of the new animated film from Dreamworks Entertainment, Madagascar. A light-hearted story about some Central Park Zoo animals that wind up in the title country, Madagascar is an enjoyable way to waste 90 minutes, especially if you are in a theater of kids who make laughing at the silly gags even more enjoyable. As a children's movie, Madagascar succeeds with it's colorful animations and goofy characters. Dreamworks tossed... Continue Reading

Why is dyslex so hard to spell?
Why do airplanes have flotation devices instead of parachutes?
Do you need a silencer if you are going to shoot a mime?
Do pediatricians play miniature golf?
How can a house burn up while it burns down?
Why is it called "after dark" when it is really after light?
What do you do about an endangered animal that eats only endangered plants?
I would just like to know... Continue Reading

The body count continues to climb in what is undoubtedly the greatest tragedy of human loss in my lifetime. As of this writing, it is estimated that upwards of 44000 people have been killed by the massive earthquake and tidal waves in Indonesia. The concept of waves moving at nearly 500 mph is staggering. This graphic demonstrates how this takes place. The whole thing seems so distant, yet is brought home by the heartbreaking photos... Continue Reading

Are we creating a generation of mutants? While reality TV may be hazardous to our health, I am talking about a different danger. Recent studies have shown that electromagnetic radiation from cell phones may be causing permanent physical damage. What they are finding is that there is a significant break to single and double DNA strands when animals are exposed to this form of radiation for extended periods. Think about it. We are continually wearing... Continue Reading

Richard Swift, from The Colony, TX (near Dallas), is facing felony animal cruelty charges for wrapping duct tape around the snout of his brother's Labrador retriever, whose barking was bothering Swift. The poor dog, named Bull, suffered heat stroke and was later euthanized. Swift, who gagged the dog on a day that temperatures hit 95 degrees in the Dallas area, was released from the Denton County lockup after posting $4000 bond. He faces a maximum... Continue Reading

I don't know why, but this sad story got my attention. A couple idiots took someone's 2-pound Yorkie and punted it like a football, killing the poor pup. A Priest Lake man killed his neighbor's 2-pound miniature Yorkshire terrier by kicking it into the air like a football, police said, and authorities have charged him with animal cruelty. Jelani Lewis and Jessica McKenzie say they are outraged at the death of their 17-year-old pet, Gizmo... Continue Reading

Coming soon to a zoo near you? This from the Ananova news wire Visitors to a zoo in eastern India have been banned from laughing after a state politician said he found it offensive. It happened after members of a local 'Laughter Club' visited the Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden and Zoo in Patna. Laloo Prasad Yadav, the former chief minister of Bihar State and president of the ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal party, complained about the... Continue Reading

Today we visited The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. As a Jew, I have been wanting to see the museum for a long time. I knew it would be a "must see" if I ever made it to Washington. I'm not sure I can put my experience into words, and perhaps it is best that I don't even try. I don't want to minimize my visit into simple cliches. I'll sum up by saying this... Continue Reading

This is hilarious! The wackos at Earth Liberation Front (E.L.F.), the criminals that are vandalizing SUVs and buildings in order to liberate the earth from the clutches of corporate greed are at it again. This time, their zany hijinks backfired. SULTAN, Wash. -- An animal rights group's plan to free 10,000 mink from a farm turned deadly after many of the emancipated mustelids became cannibals while others went on a carnivorous feeding frenzy. About 9,000... Continue Reading

Here's the story. A sick cartoon in which cuddly characters are maimed and decapitated is coming to UK audiences. Happy Tree Friends features a series of happy-go-lucky woodland animals which end up ripped to shreds in pools of blood in each short episode. Today, I am eight-years old for the second time. Sure, I carry myself in the body of a 39-year old. I'm hairier and heavier than the last time I turned eight. But make no mistake. Thanks to the magic of eBay, I am reliving my childhood in a very meaningful way. I submit to you photographs of my favorite childhood toy animal. It was a kangaroo puppet named Foopy Doo.
