If you read yesterday's entry, you'll see that we had a heck of a time getting home from Chicago to OKC. Our flight was cancelled and we ended up rescheduled for an 8:55pm departure. Of course, the flight didn't leave until closer to 9:30 pm. And then we sat parked outside the gate in OKC for 30 minutes waiting for the plane at the gate to leave. Somewhere in Kansas

We left Keystone yesterday and decided to head home. As it would turn out, it is monsoon season in Colorado, and the rain just keeps coming. We drove to Burlington, CO and spent the night in a cheap motel. Now we are on the road, about 40 miles west of Salina, Kansas. There is just a whole lot of nothing to see out here. Red River, Day 6

Another beautiful morning in Red River! We've been eating breakfast in the room all week, so we decided to go out for eggs and pancakes this morning. We went to The Hole Thing Donut Shop and were very pleased with the meal. It was pricy, but that's the way it goes.
