Somewhere in Kansas

Posted on July 18, 2004 02:09 PM by Joel Comm

We left Keystone yesterday and decided to head home. As it would turn out, it is monsoon season in Colorado, and the rain just keeps coming. We drove to Burlington, CO and spent the night in a cheap motel. Now we are on the road, about 40 miles west of Salina, Kansas. There is just a whole lot of nothing to see out here. We passed up the opportunity to see the world's biggest prairie dog, so I don't think there will be much to stand in the way of us getting home around 5pm or so. I'm sure Socrates will be glad to see us!
