"You're a social media expert", he said on the conference call.
I guess I hadn't thought of myself in that manner before.
He went on to tell me that I have provided him with tons of advice on using social media to leverage his brand and increase traffic to his sites.
I pondered for a while and realized that I had gotten so used to sharing my knowledge that I didn't recognize just how much I had to share with others.
From MySpace and YouTube to Twitter and Facebook, I've been playing with social media and having great success for quite some time.
So when someone comes along and pins that title on me, I guess I should accept it with great humility.
Joel Comm: Social Media Expert.
Ok, it does have a nice ring to it. ;-)

I really enjoyed the webinar last night. As always, Joel was humble and straight forward and it sounds like Joel and his team have a lot of great products and services coming out in the not to distant future.

A JupiterResearch report notes that companies in Europe (where we monitor and measure social media) are underspending on social media because they don't know how to spend more effectively. Social media PR consultants are becoming increasingly worthy of greater investment. It's good that you enjoy your job enough to not even notice that you are now an expert. Congrats!

What exactly defines expertize Joel?
I'm a little confused. If every compliment turned me into an expert, then I am a super hero.
