Saved $230 at Book Expo

I decided to bring my son with me to the Book Expo in Los Angeles.

I knew that I had a pass to get in, but I was told that I would need to purchase a pass for Z. Turns out it would cost me $230.

When we arrived at the conference center, I decided that I would find a friendly face behind the exhibitors registration desk and see what I could do.

I asked her if there was a way to get him in without full price since I had an Author/Exhibitor pass and he would be my helper.

She kindly informed me that my publisher actually had a number of complimentary badges left over and she would assign one to my son.

It doesn't cost me a dime to get him into the show!

Say it with me...

It never hurts to ask!
