Pay Once Hosting -- Such a Deal

Posted on August 15, 2006 12:33 AM by Joel Comm

Once upon a time I promoted an offer from Ray McNally.

I've only met Ray virtually and it was my understanding that he would do as promised.

Due to the number of complaints received for his "pay once hosting" offer, and the apparant inability for people to contact Ray for support, I have redacted my support for the offer.

I am leaving this entry online because of the comments only.

I'd be very wary of such an offer. The chances of any webhost being around for a "lifetime" are very small. Any company would go broke making an offer like that. Sounds like a ponzi scheme.

  2. Roy Quinn Says:

    Joel,
You recommend giving each topic in a blog a separate page. By that do you mean a separate blog? In eBlogger I can't find anything about separate pages on the dashboard. Would you help, please?

  3. Unhappy Customer Says:

    **WARNING**

Stay well clear of Ray McNally’s lifetime web hosting!! The so-called “maintenance” that was meant to take a couple of days has taken well over a month… almost 2 and he does NOT reply to any of emails.

    You have been warned!

  4. Not Good Says:

Server has been done for over a month or two. I didn't even get a email about what was happening. Did Ray McNally shut down it's operations? I can't even access his site.

  5. Another unhappy customer Says:

**WARNING** Sites still down with no contact from **RAYMOND MCNALLY** I really don't know if he just ran out of money and is afraid to admit it or if he is a big scam artist!! Just BEWARE**

  6. Ray Says:

    Hello,

In regards to the last three posts...

    This is Ray McNally.

I'm sorry if you have not been able to get in contact with me
in regards to the hosting issues.

I have setup a temp solution for people until I get everything
squared away and I HAVE updated the list I have access to about
the solution, with instructions and so on.

If you were not contacted - I'm very sorry.

Please email me personally at: rmcnally@gmail.com for information
and to make sure I have your current contact info so I can add you
to the list of customers I have access to and keep you informed
    as things progress.

Also, please allow a day or two for any replies as I'm answering
    email as they come in.

It's also good to add my email (Above), to any filters you have
so there is no issue of wrongly filtered replies and so on.

Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience and lack of communication
because my limited data access to customer info right now.

  7. amother unhappy client Says:

Ray is not telling the truth, I now of people that he in fact did have contact with and he has not followed up with them because they want a refund on their written guarantee.

He has no back up of his shut down site. I think it is because he did not pay his bill. Or, he simply absconded with other peoples money.

And even if he did legitimately have a server break down, why would he not just open up a new dedicated server and just transfer things when he his so called broken system has been recovered?

It has been over 3 months now. He did not have the system backed up, which is hosting 101.

He left Texas and he is hiding in Zimmerman MN.

I know he is hiding because he changed his Facebook from this address back to TX when he shut his system down.

This looks to much like a planned out scheme to me.

I and others will debate him on any post he places on this site.

He is bad news, stay away from Ray.

  8. Ray McNally Says:

    Hello,

If anyone has any issues with anything I've provided PLEASE contact me personally.

I am not hiding anywhere - I DO live in Zimmerman MN if anyone would ask I would gladly tell them - as for the post above - I DO NOT even have a facebook account.

Most likely meant MySpace which I do have and did change back to my older address because it was changed without my saying so and The MySpace page is not being updated - I've see no success with MySpace .

If others have seen success with MySpace then congrats - it's just not working for me.

Like I said, I'm not hiding from anyone - if you need me - PLEASE contact me!

    rmcnally@gmail.com

I'd love to deal with those that actually do want to openly communicate, instead of hiding behind 'made to purposely give bad thought' up 'Posted By' names.

  9. Been trying for over a year! Says:

Ray, I've gave you the money up front, in good faith, and have waited for more than a year for you to produce on continual false promises. The only thing you seem to produce is an abundance of excuses. How about just stepping up, be a man your Grandfather would be proud of and do what you promised. It's that simple. You give Joel and the other real marketers a bad rep.

  10. amother unhappy client Says:

    Ray,

You must have changed your My Space address. Does this make you an honest man? It took you almost 4 months to come out of that shadow.

Do you know what would make you an honest man?

Give all the people that you burned their money back. Or, simply start up a new server and complete all the broken promises that you made.

I am curious what excuse you will have this time.

  11. Ray Says:

I stick with my last post here.

I'm not hiding from anyone and making it sound like I am is nothing more then wasting time, effort and energy.

I've provided contact info here from my first post - its the same info - not changed and will not change.

If you have a problem with me in any way, then contact ME - and give your info so I can actually help.

  12. amother unhappy client Says:

    Raymond McNally,

    You are a deceitful man!

What don't you just answer why you will not simply start up a new server.

Or, finish all the so called money making web sites that you promised would make thousands of dollars a month.

Or, pay back all the money you stiffed people for.

The bogus contact me post you have here is done simply to make it look like you are actually sympathetic to all those poor people you have a responsibility to.

The fact is Raymond, you don't have any plans on giving back the money or starting up a new server.

    Ray you are a crook!!

  13. Ray McNally Says:

I stick with my last post here.

I'm not hiding from anyone and making it sound like I am is nothing more then wasting time, effort and energy.

I've provided contact info here from my first post - its the same info - not changed and will not change.

If you have a problem with me in any way, then contact ME - and give your info so I can actually help.

I can not help anyone that doesn't contact me.

I have taken care of any server issues and those that are still do hosting have been contacted or are being handled as they contact me!

  14. RayMcnallyScamAlert Says:

Go to this site, and type in his last name in both grantor and grantee.

    https://deed.wilco.org/search.asp?cabinet=opr

It looks as if he wasn't paying his housenote and the IRS is after him, too.
This looks to have started in November 2006 so he has been scamming people for months to try to pay his bills. What a loser....
Beware when you buy from these internet marketers. I know for a fact that he is using aliases to sell his products because he has screwed people out of a lot of money.
Ray, I want my money back for my hosting now! Or I will contact the Federal Trade Commission. All of your websites are offline and you have not contacted everyone. In fact, why should anyone need to CONTACT YOU? You are the one who should notify people.

  15. ahtiu Says:

This Raymond idiot is giving out his email address and say he is not hiding but he is infact not replying at all... so what the F%$$ u wan ppl to contact u for ?

  16. another scam victim Says:

Contact the States Attorneys office from the State that you reside in and charge Mr. McNally with internet fraud. A substantial fine and/or prison time is usually promptly administered unless immediate restitution is made.

  17. kenya Says:

Joel, yeah, I would have considered Ray McNally a friend, too, until he took $2800 from me under the guise that he was selling off some of his Google Adsense websites, building 45 websites that would make money.
Sadly Joel, you will look scandalous as long as you use him to do work.
Raymond told me that you sell his lifetimehosting and he pays you very, very well. Are you apart of his scam?
He even sold his wife's cousin's business of which he is not an owner. I suggest anyone who has been robbed by Raymond McNally to report him on www.ic3.gov ran by the FBI. Additionally, report him to the BBB in your state and in Minnesota, Texas, and Pennsylvania. He has gone into hiding and selling products online using alias names as women and men.
This creep has inspired me to go into Internet Law. I just passed the Bar and start school soon. Raymond, I am coming after you. There is no expiration on prosectuing a crime. And signing another foney "contract" is just another way you are avoiding paying me.
There is a lot to be said about a man who will steal money from a single woman with a child to feed.

  18. Another Victim Says:

Does anyone have Ray's full address and home phone number? I've decided to take legal action against both Ray and his wife Theresa and I need as much personal info on him as possible. According to legal counsel, I have an excellent case for internet and wire fraud (both are felonies).

Thanks for anyone who is able to help.

  19. Kusuma Widjaja Says:

Raymond McNally also scammed me last year, 19th August 2007 to be exact. Similar to kenya above, he's promising Google Adsense websites & building 15 sites. But he was not building the sites till now. It cost me $467.

And then he offer me a refund... but again, he's not willing to pay via PayPal, but he said he'd sent check. I guess PayPal froze his account...

Till today... I found no check coming from him. He's blatantly lie to me. See... I'm from Asia country, maybe I can't do anything.

If you're trying to help Joel... at least do something here.

  20. RayHaterForLife Says:

I found this connected to a website he owned (I don't know if he still owns it). but he also owns www.myspecialcellphone.com or so he said. It appears to be a google adsense and ebay spam blog. It should be reported, too. He said that he lived in Zimmerman, Minnesota. Teresa worked at a Home Depot in ZImmerman according to her myspace page. They are crooks!

  21. kpeecee Says:

Contact the Minnesota Police Department in Zimmerman and in the state.
Show them Ray McNally's myspace page and that he does login:

    http://myspace.com/raymcnally

His wife has a page there too (see his friends) and it looks like she works at Lowe's in Miami Florida. So maybe he lives in Miami or he is still in Minnesota. He is definitely on the run.
Raymond! I want my money back! I filed a police report in Zimmerman and in Miami on both of them.

  22. Screwed by Raymond Says:

I was screwed by Raymond. And I have let it go. I figure that I will get it back tenfold and he has lost so much considering he has screwed over so many people. And anyone associated with him has the potential of getting screwed over. I lost $6200 with Ray McNally. I found this post and I found his wife's myspace video and he looks like has cysts or something god awful on his face and neck. Did he move to Minnesota becasue he is sick and went to the big hospital there? I di ddo due diligence and report him to the better business bureau in Texas, Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Florida (I reported his wife, too It's too bad because Raymond was a big name in online marketing or at least that is what he claimed.
My advice to anyone out there, you must really be cautious with these internet marketing gurus. And honestly, I bought his service because he was recommended by Joel and Armand. But I am very glad to see that Joel Comm is a good guy and thanks for allowing us an opportunity to report the fraudulent stuff that Ray McNally has done to so many.

I noticed some incorrect information on this site posted by:
    RayHaterForLife....

Diamond Enterprises, LLC or THEREALESTATEPAD.com are in NO WAY associated with Ray McNally, I have no idea where you obtained this information, however, I am very interested to see what site you say it was connected to.

If you read this post please post the site connection information for me, I would appreciate it.
