Our Nation's Capital

Posted on March 23, 2006 11:06 PM by Joel Comm

Arrived in Washington, DC today for Yanik Silver's Underground Seminar. I'll be writing about my experiences this weekend. I've already encountered many friends, some fans and some folks that I hadn't met before. But that's another story.

There's something wonderful about coming to this city, especially for someone who isn't jaded by living inside the Beltway.

Driving past the Jefferson Memorial. Spotting the Washington Monument from the air. Viewing the Lincoln Memorial from my eleventh floor hotel window. This is a historical place that every American should visit at least once during their lives.

My hotel is just three city blocks from The White House. I plan on taking a walk by the President's home before I leave here. Perhaps he'll be walking the dog and will wave to me.

Busy busy... more later...
