    Joel,
Looks great. I like that it has more pictures of you, since you seem photogenic. I'm sure having more pics helps with the brand, especially since you've got "The Next Internet Millionaire" adding to your exposure.

Hope the new design works out for ya!

  2. Jeff Says:

Let us know how Adsense works out with the new design!

  3. Jeff Tardif Says:

    Very nice Joel!

And I want a yellow tie too! :p

And you're following your own advices, your big google square is exactly where it has to be hehe

    Keep on good work

  4. Ulla H Says:

Well, I will be honest with you about this new style. It is different and I find it a bit confusing with so many different stuff on it. But, in the same time I like it.

    Regards,
    Ulla H

  5. Ed Says:

Nice look, takes forever to load though and I'm on high speed connection, and quite honestly? TOO MUCH CLUTTER for my tastes!

    Hi Joel,
What design template are you using. It looks a lot like a joomla template in the magazine mode. Nice design but it is a lot different from your old blog and many of the templates that you have sold in the past. Nice design. Lots of stuff to choose from. I am curious how your adsense will do on this site. I didn't see any prominent on the front page but there it was on the post when you read more. Is this design made to promote more affiliate items and some of your other products? The photos are top notch. I love the new header design. Nice look overall. Keep us up on the adsense income.

    Thanks for all you do,

    Scott J

  7. Sandra Says:

I really like the new look! It's easy to follow. I like that it takes one to different areas, topics, pages. Good work! Still Wordpress? I am way too new at this (even pre-newbie), but I am following your and your affiliate's advice. Thank you!

  8. Martin Bellinger Says:

    Hi Joel,

l like the use of the white background, and also the balance of comments on the left field in ratio to links, promos.

Joel, I am impressed with everything you do. That is one of the reasons you stand out and above all the other guru's.
Keep it coming maybe one day my brain will obsorb it, and I can make it happen.

    Thanks Again
    Baby

Hi Joel. I love your site. It really jumps out at me. What blog program did you use to create this one?

    Thanks

How're those glasses there, Joel. They look really tasty.

Layout A++, Photos A, Content As we've come to expect.

    Nicely executed.

can't read the type fonts in the captcha box though, so here goes nothin'

  13. Cheryl J Says:

Oooo, I do like it. Yes, please tell us .... I do see magazine mode .... Is it a joomla template?

  14. Terri Shearer Says:

Joel, I like the new look. The first frame where you highlight this blog, it is difficult to see the hypertext to click on.

Like the Flickr section and the modern look. And I must say you look 1000% better than you looked at JV Alert when you had the flu!!!!

  15. Barb Says:

    Hey Joel!

Great new site! It's attractive, easy to navigate and self-explanatory. Congratulations!

  16. Marks Says:

I think the site looks very good indeed. Very professional and eyecatching. Like most of your comments I am also curious to see how your adsense does. Very good though Joel

  17. Bob Jenkins Says:

    Hey Joel,
Looks good, although it is a bit cluttered. Looks more like a magazine, which definitely gives it more of a news/professional look, but less like a blog. The /about page is missing, which I'm sure you'll fix later but you have no 404 error page* set up yet.

Being a former teacher, I must also say that "nice guy" should be capitalized in the subheading. :)

By the way, enjoyed working with Jaime on the Success in 12 weeks program. Thanks again for the connection.

    Hi Joel,

I like the layout. It's very Web 2.0ish and so different that it will probably take your readers a while to adjust to it, however it's quite cool.

  19. Denny Says:

Hi Joel, Looks like a lot of effort went into the creation. Nice Header!
Beyond that IMHO it's just too "busy" too much stuff, and too many ads. What's this blog's intent?

  20. Go2Fish Says:

    hey joel,

I like the old design and layout , this one is very confusing....Difficult to find articles.Too much happening on the site, very noise, switch back to the earlier one.

  21. Ayn Elise Says:

    Hi Joel-
Stopping by to take a look and comment.
The new color scheme is great! The use of the grey in general and the alternating grey and white in comments also compliments the use of white space. Very nice integration of the Web 2.0 and Social media elements ( for the post, comments, etc. box) and of course, the You Tube and Flckr steams. Also really like the current featured posted design. That is a nice touch. In all, it flows very nicely.
I do have to say though, that the header graphic may be a bit large of a file. The site doesn't load quickly and I am on a level of DSL above the standard subscription.
    Pretty cool!

  22. Vincent Collaso Says:

Hey Joel! I like it! Looks great! Keep up the good work, my man. I was getting a bit worried when I saw the same blog topic for the last few days.Good to see you back at it.

  23. Adewale Bolaji Says:

    Hi Joel,

This new blog looks too busy and a bit confusing for me.

I think you should reduce the number of pictures (especially yours) and bring the INFORMATION section towards the top.

Great moneytization is an obvious plus to this new look.

    My personal opinion though.

  24. steve Says:

    hi,

A nice fresh new look always helps as they say, just like painting a room in your house.

The new web 2.0 stuff is the way to go as they say and thats 2 things i need to do.

one is to start a blog of some sort, and move my sites into the web 2.0 world.

    steve

  25. Kacy Says:

The new blog is too busy, Joel. It looks more like a web site than a blog. I liked the last one because it was a quick read and focused.

  26. Ed Erickson Says:

Congrats on the new design. Very flashy Joel.

    Critique?

I'd rather see the post of the day shown in it's entirety on the blog's home page. I don't really care for the aggregate magazine look for a single blogger site. I think it works better for team blogs or news blogs or blogazines.

Once you get to this page though, it's pretty cool. Nice layout and colors. Reminds me a tad of Chris G's design. Like the white, gray and orange.

The google ads crowd the beginning of your post. Think I'd use images there and slim up the ad layout.

    Very nice look overall Joel.

  27. Rodney Says:

    Joel,

I would like to know what software you use to build your blogs.
I really liked your old blog for ease of use.

This one seems way busy and somewhat confusing. All the horizontal pictures running right above the "Recent Videos" have no titles or subtitles, so unless a person clicks them out of curiosity, it is impossible to know why they are there.

    Great looking header.
    Good luck with it.
    Rodney

  28. Don Jones Says:

This is your best design yet, Joel. You deserve a lot of credit for the work and information you provide on behalf of your viewers. Also the tips you provided re Adsense have helped me a lot in gaining extra income. Good luck in the future and don't rest on your laurels!

  29. Arlene Says:

    Joel,

AWESOME! Care to share how you did that????

  30. Peterson Says:

Hi Joel. the site look Great .... and you look younger too .. cheers!

  31. Jesisca Says:

    Hi Joel,

I like the old one better. For me, the old one is simple and easy to use. This new site is stand out but I think too crowded.

  32. Colleen The Crystal Dragon Says:

Hi Joel, Love the new look, makes mine look decidely uninteresting can see that I will need to do a lot of work on my blog if I am going to get anywhere near this standard(like I wish). Anyway you continue to inspire and challenge us all and for this I thank you 100 times over. Please keep up the good work.

    Love and Light
    Colleen The Crystal Dragon

  33. Mapquest Driving Directions Says:

    Hi Joel,

Nice change, I really like it much better than the previous design. It is cleaner and more up-to-date :)

    Regards, Misha

  34. Garry Says:

    Joel,
I like it. It loaded slowly. Love the banner and the hovering highlight of the navigation area. Didn't like the Flickr photos-seems too self centered, not info centered. Wanted to see some alt text when I hovered over the thumbnail photos. I liked the magazine article section. The Captcha is hard to read.

  35. james Says:

Nice design. I just have one suggestion though, put the flickr below the category and archives column to prevent clutter.

    Thanks and more power!

  36. Iantreoreneur Says:

WOW this is great nice to see Addi design on a great entrepreneurs blog!

  37. Kristi Says:

I love the design but it's loading fairly slow on my cable connection using Firefox. I counted 20 seconds and some of the graphics still hadn't loaded.
