Kudos to the President Regarding John Bolton

Posted on August 1, 2005 01:08 PM by Joel Comm

Finally, we have an Ambassador to the United Nations. The liberals and mainstream media are going nuts because the President assigned John Bolton as a recess appointment, while Congress is out of session.

The recess appointment is nothing new. Clinton did 144 of them during his two terms. Reagan did around that many as well.

Bolton had the needed votes in the Senate, but a few radicals filibustered and would not allow the vote to take place. Today they are boo-hooing about the constitutionality of Bush's move. It's really rather humorous.

Try though they may, the radical Democrats are just not gaining any ground.

Oh, but there is always Al Gore's TV network, which debuts today. ;-)
