Internet Marketing Conferences

I occassionally receive email that looks like this...

"Dear Joel,

I have purchased your ebook and applied your strategies to my web pages. It's been a week and I am not making any money. It just doesn't work"

Welcome to our microwave society. We want our popcorn done in sixty seconds. And if we can get someone else to put it in the microwave and prepare it for us, all the better.

So what is the truth about Google AdSense?

1) It takes work. No, not the kind of work that has you digging ditches or working eight hours/day for a boss who you don't like. The kind of work that means actually putting everything you've got into learning, implementing, testing and persisting to reach your goals. I admit, working in a tshirt and shorts may be uncomfortable for some people, but even as I write this email, I am home sick with a cold... unshowered (too much information?)... and still accomplishing a great deal with little effort.

2) It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Building an AdSense business is not something you can buy in a box. You might find some short-term solutions to make money with AdSense, but if you are looking to earn for years to come, there are better ways to do it. Google provides the avenue that can lead to immense profits.

3) The opportunity is greater than most people can fathom. It's HUGE. I try to communicate this in my homebuilding illustration... Pour the foundation. Lay the bricks. Build a room at a time and you soon have a house. Keep building and you soon have two levels. Continue building and nurturing your creation and you can have a mansion. How does an entire neighborhood of mansions sound? Impossible? Only if you think so. Possible? If you believe and are willing to make it happen.

Here's what I have figured out... and it is profound.

There is only ONE difference between the people who are succeeding with AdSense and those who are not.

Ready?

The one's who are succeeding "get it" and do what it takes to make it happen.

Yes, it is really that simple.

Can I let you in on a secret?

Even when I was making $500 +/day with AdSense, I still didn't "get it". I did not see the real opportunity that exists online. And it isn't just AdSense. Last year, I wrote a special report called "The Internet Money Tree", because I view the Internet as the greatest single opportunity to make money of my lifetime. Even at that time, I did not grasp the depth of what this means.

Only when I began attending Internet marketing conferences did the light go on above my head!

I don't know how to communicate this to you other than to say that going to a conference opens up doors that you never knew existed. My friend, Jeff Walker, told me that I should consider going to Big Seminar last November. I trusted his recommendation and decided to take a risk.

Attending Big Seminar changed my life! Literally. Profoundly. Forever.

And as a result, I can see building my business TEN TIMES LARGER than I ever envisioned. That means more money to be able to live the lifestyle that I want for me and my family. It means greater ability to give to those in need and make a difference in their lives. And it means more FREEDOM so that I can have time with my family, instead of being slave to the computer.

I "get it" now.

So do you "get it"? Are you ready to take a risk and open the door to opportunity while it is still knocking?

If so, come see me at one of these upcoming conferences. I would love to meet you face-to-face and help you "get it" so you can truly tap into the unbelievable opportunity that exists online today!

May 12-14, Dallas, TX

May 26-29, Orlando, FL

June 23-25, Philadelphia, PA

I hope you will decide to join me at one or more of these potentially life-changing events because I want you to "get it"!

    Joel,

I could not agree more. It is a matter of constantly trying new things, monitoring, adjusting and fine tuning.

    Most importantly, it takes time.

Then you have to realize you will have days that your income goes up and times that it goes down, so you have to be willing to stick it out as well.

Don't give up, and remember small gains can mean big things.

John Reese was mentioning how excited he was to see earning .92 (92 cents) in one day. It's not that it is a lot of money, the point is, you're getting paid to write. Paid to write about something you love to talk about.

That is a mind-blowing thought. GO FOR IT!

    Follow up:

    SORRY:

Actually, there are two points to earning that 92 cents per day.

    1. You're getting paid to write about something you like to write about.

    2. That was his first day of earning income from google adsense ads on his site, so even though it was not a lot of money, the point was it worked. He knew that if it worked that day, on that web site, he could do it again an again, on that site and additional sites.

That's probably the most important thing I learned from watching the video.

    Good luck!

Success in anything doesn't happen overnight! Patience and determination are required!

  5. Normal Joe Says:

This is so true, many want instant gratification, I'm more into building long term mansions! I am just catching up on some of your older posts, so, don't mind me ;)

I still think the information is timeless even though it was written a couple of years ago, it is fresh to me and helpful. Keep up the good work Joel, I can't wait to meet you at some type of event in the future lol.

  6. Scritube Says:

An internet marketing conference in The Country Music Capital Of The WORLD. Organized by Kristi Sayles and Phil Cullum.

It will be a seminar, a birthday celebration and roast,
and one of the biggest networking and joint venture
    meetings you'll ever attend.
