I Should've Been Your Hero

Slowly but surely, the truth about abortion is coming to the surface in the American mindset. More and more women are speaking out about how abortion has hurt them terribly, leaving a wake of destruction in their personal lives. So many of society's ills can be traced back to an abortion in someone's life. Drug addictions. Eating disorders. Sexual dysfunction. Depression. There is a cause and effect link between taking the unborns baby's life and the mental and physical health of the survivor.

Fortunately, there is help for those with post abortion syndrome. The tide is turning and I am guessing that the next generation will look back at the previous generations and say "How could you have allowed this?"

What is now being discovered is that men also suffer from post-abortion syndrome. I recently found a video of a song by Chris Jackman and Cordell Langeland. It is called I Should've Been Your Hero, and I think many men who have either stood by and watched while their girlfriend or spouse had an abortion will be able to relate. You can read the lyrics here. It's powerful stuff.
