I actually won something

I was listening to talk radio this morning on the way to work and the host began discussing a story that I had heard about on the Glenn Beck Program the day before. The story centered around a Cleveland, Ohio TV news Anchorwoman and some indiscretions that occured when she was in Florida with her husband several months earlier. Essentially, this "anchorette" got blotto and entered a wet t-shirt contest at a local bar in Key West, FL. Well, she didn't stop there. She took her clothes off. All of 'em.

Naturally, photos were taken and I guess they were circulated on the net. Sure enough, it became a terribly embarrasing situation and she resigned from her job at the news desk.

Anyhow, the talk show host was talking about the story and told us that this woman was now contemplating a lawsuit, but he didn't mention who she was going to sue. He gave the studio phone number and solicited guesses from listeners. Well, my first thought was that she was going to sue the owners of the bar where the photos were taken. So I phoned in to the studio and was placed on the air with the host. Sure enough, we have another person unwilling to take personal responsibility for her actions. She is indeed contemplating suing the bar.

ALL that to say that I won four tickets to the Oklahoma City Home and Garden Show that is scheduled for this weekend at the Oklahoma City Fair Grounds. It's supposed to be a great show with one of the special guests being a designer from Trading Spaces. But we can't make it to the show, so I am giving the tickets to friends.

But I won something. So there.
