It's time to drag out the cliches.
"Wow, can you believe it's 2007 already?"
"Man, that year zipped by so fast!"
"Before you know it it'll be 2008..."
You get the picture.
It's another turning of the page.
What does it really mean?
Nothing. It's just another day.
But we humans like to signify the passing of time by marking the days. There's just something special about the clock ticking to the next set of 365 days.
And we use that opportunity as an excuse to examine our lives... to do a little house-cleaning. Out with the old, in with the new.
Resolutions.
Now I am a pretty sentimental guy. And when the clock strikes midnight, I will probably feel a tug in my chest... perhaps a tear to my eye. Call it conditioning.
Or maybe it's something more?
Perhaps it stems from a sense of thankfulness for what I have been given.
Maybe it is excitement about the opportunities that lay before me in the coming year.
Or maybe it is for the chance to be part of mankind's unfolding drama... a longing we all have deep inside.
Could it be all three?
Yes, I believe so.
On this New Year's Eve, as we close out 2006 and ring in 2007, I hope you have set your sights on these core principles...
1) Gratitude. You can never be thankful enough for the people and opportunities in your life. Take a few moments to reflect and soak up in the goodness of being alive and the blessings that surround you.
2) Forgiveness. Are you harboring a grudge against someone? Did you know you are hurting yourself more than other person? Choose to wipe the slate clean. It's a new year. Begin it in freedom.
3) Attitude. If you are able to achieve the goals of #1 and #2, you will find that your mind is set on the things that are most important. Now where will you go from here? Decide that you can reach for your dreams in 2007! And then TAKE ACTION to make those dreams come true.
On my behalf, I will strive to continue encouraging you on your path to success. I may make a mistake every now and then... in fact, I guarantee that I will. But I shall endeavor to provide you with information and resources that truly can make a difference on your journey.
I'm incredibly grateful for your support and consider it an honor to serve you in this way.
So, it's time to turn the page and find another year full of opportunities.
It's my prayer that you will seize them, and that 2007 will go down in history as your best year ever. :-)
God bless you in 2007... Happy New Year!
Joel

Thanks Joel,
Let me wish you and yours a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. And I have to say that it is good to find a genuine teacher, mentor, and friend in this sea of money hungry sharks called the internet. I have learned more from you in about 2 months than I have from all the others in the previous 12 months.
God Bless,

Happy New Year to you and your family. You are truly unique and very informed. I haven't decided what online business to start just yet, but I see the value in your support and information.
Thanks and success always.

Hi Joel, I deeply appreciated your comments on the year passing and the year emerging. I also relate very much to Victor's comments. I've spent 4 years, and I hate to reveal the spent dollars that earned me a total of $3.37 in that time. But I am looking forward to working with you to change my life and my fortune. I'm 73 so I don't have much time left to make my mark on the future so I'm really counting on this shiny new year to "be the one!" thanks again for instilling hope and for your giving nature. Mary

Joel,
Thanks for all the great advice in the last year. It is a joy to be on your list.
You inspire a person to do more and do better.
Myself, I am still in the very same position I was in last year at this time.
It is kind of discouraging but I refuse to give up until I figure it all out.
I have spent this whole year going around in circles trying to learn this thing called marketing.
It isn't a good feeling to know you are in the same spot you were a year ago.
I am going to work extra hard this year to get my biz started(although I have worked many, many 12-18 hour days this year).
I will do whatever it takes.
Thanks for the inspiration in your email. You are a great person and I am lucky to have your guidance.

HAPPY NEWYEAR Joel to you and yours.
I know your heart and mind are in the right place whenever I am on one of your sites or purchase some of your material. Most sites and material I only feel a tug on my wallet. God Bless you for that difference.
This year I will be making some moves and I will need some help. I will be asking questions after the holidays.
Thanks Again,
Gary Hoffman

Hi Joel-
Lots of us keep an eye on you and what you do because unlike most internet entrepreneurs I have encountered, you are not fake or greedy in the way you do or present your work. You are are an example to people that cheating is not necessary to be successful. I personally appreciate that, and It is something my wife & I instill in our Kids.
I also appreciate the fact that you are the only successful internet entrepreneur I've found who isnt afraid to share his faith in God along the way. That's very important to me & my family.
I know you & your family will be greatly rewarded for that in many ways!
Happy New Year Joel!

Hi Joel,
Here's wishing you and yours a fabulous and memorable 2007. As you wrote, January 1 is just another day in the endless march of time, but it's psychological impact is one of hope -- that times will get better, and dreams will come true. And don't we all need that expectancy of a brighter tomorrow.
Again, Happy New Year and thanks for your many informative and encouraging emails.
Regards, Dan J.

Hi Joel, I have bought thousands of dollars worth of crap on the internet, but then you and Ken McArther came along and I finally used my money wisely. I did not have to buy another thing as of yet. I am a newbee, All I needed was to get the right push. I"m sure there is alot of good information out there, but I started with Kens infoproduct blueprint, then somehow I got hooked up with some of your adsense templates. I really like what I see so far. I will be joining your monthly templates group in the near future. My future sight is www.gonzoforkids.com I can't wait to meet you at JV alert in Orlando. I use to delete alot of emails from other people that just try and push product after product. All they wan't is your pay-pal #. Some day, I hope to be on the hot seat at JV alert live asking people like yourself to help promote my product, Heck who knows, I might even have one in february. Bottom line Joel, I now read every email I get from you, because you are not alway"s trying to push a bunch of outdated information, that has been laying around the internet for years. I look forward to making money with your products and advice. Sincerely Dusty Seiberling.A.K.A GONZO the clown

Hello, joel, wishing you a great 2007. No doubt it was a very useful experience with you in 2006, since I join your list. Your communication was unrelentingly mature and relevant. A few of your comments and advice keeps ringing permanently in my head especially in situations where they are applicable.
Please let me use this opportunity to find out from you how you can be contacted(e.mail address) on a matter relating to Adsense or internet marketing and be sure to get your reply. I have once sent an e.mail to you that went unanswered.
Thanks.
peter.
