Grrr... aargh

Around 6 p.m. Friday evening, the connection to all our servers went kaput. We are on a T1 line, so I contacted our ISP to find out what the deal was. After several hours of back and forth, it was determined that the problem was somewhere in the phone lines. I had to go to the office at midnight to meet a SBC technician. It took him two hours to fix the problem. As it turns out, SBC technicians were working on lines earlier in the day and they messed up my line. Great So we were down for eight hours without any recourse. Didn't even get so much as an apology from SBC. Thanks guys.
