Election 2004

Posted on November 1, 2004 02:46 PM by Joel Comm

The day is nearly upon us. After an excrutiatingly lengthy campaign season, the American people will go to the polls tomorrow to decide the next President of the United States.

This last week, I went to a conference and met with others in the Internet industry. I was surprised to find some small-business owners supporting John Kerry. I was even more surprised to find out that an extremely intelligent gentleman was an "undecided" voter.

One common thread in Kerry voters is the parroting of the lies presented in Fahrenheit 911. I also continue to hear the mantras of the mainstream media, such as "Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction", "Iraq is a quagmire", etc.

For me, this election is a no-brainer. A vote for Bush is a vote for strength and American sovereignty. A vote for Kerry is a vote for weakness and the crumbling of America.

When all is said and done tomorrow, I will be happy just to have the whole thing behind us. If Bush wins, I will be thrilled. If Kerry wins, I'll start lining up the "I told you so's", because dark days are ahead.

Regardless, I believe God allows nations to make choices, and He allows people to enter into positions of power. If He allows John Kerry to win this election, we can expect to reap what we have sown.

May God have mercy on us all...

I too, find this election a no-brainer and that's why I'm voting for John Kerry. I believe that Kerry can bring hope. I look forward to brighter days ahead if Kerry wins. If Bush wins, I'll try hard to find those areas where I can support him.

I am just thinking how poeple can be so naieve, in their patriotism that they forget other countries in the world do exist and they are important for world peace too.

Bush, has done nothing but fuelled more hatred towards America. Polls in all other countries clearly indicate that their hatered towards Bush aka America has increased after the Iraq war.

Such hatred has made America more unsafe.

I just hope Kerry wins !.

Are you kidding? Bush is obviously an idiotic pig and I am proud not to be an Amercian because everybody hates America because of one person: George Doubleya!
