Howard Dean as head of the Democratic National Convention. Could this be any more fun?
The Democrats are imploding and it is a joyous site to see. Check out this story...
Dean Says Democrats Will Make Schiavo Case an Election Issue
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said Friday that his party would wield the Terri Schiavo case against Republicans in the 2006 and 2008 elections, but for now needed to stay focused battling President Bush on Social Security."We're going to use Terri Schiavo later on," Dean said of the brain-damaged Floridian who died last month after her feeding tube was removed amid a swarm of political controversy.
Dean, who has called congressional intervention in the Schiavo case "political grandstanding," singled out House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) for his leading role in the matter.
"This is going to be an issue in 2006, and it's going to be an issue in 2008," Dean told about 200 people at a gay rights group's breakfast in West Hollywood, "because we're going to have an ad with a picture of Tom DeLay saying, 'Do you want this guy to decide whether you die or not? Or is that going to be up to your loved ones?' "
And it goes on... but what a hoot. These guys are labeling themselves as the Party of Death. They did it with abortion, championing the wholesale slaughter of unborn babies and untold damage to those who have bought into the lie. Now they are supporters of killing the disabled. Next it will be the elderly. Followed by... you.
Courtesy of your local insane political party of death... the Democrats.
How will this pan out in 2006? Another Republican landslide.
When you put extremist wackos like Howard Dean at the helm, grab some popcorn and sit back to watch the show.

I've never been a big fan of modern politics, and quotes like: "we're going to use Terri Schiavo later on" make me believe that my position of "letting the bricks fall where they may" is very well justified.
Come on - if you're going to lead a national political party, the least you could do is word it in a politically correct way. Say, "we'll use the issue of human aided death," or, at the very least, try and call it the "Terri Schiavo Situation" (TSS?). When you're in a position of power, and you know your quotes are going to be taken out of context and used against you, you should think before you speak, and try to seem partially human.
But, then again, I'm not on any side when it comes to politics: I may side with the Republicans on one matter, while I may side with the Democrats, or an Independent on another matter. I hate limiting myself to one opinion.
Personally, however, I voted for Don Mattingly in the last election, because, quite frankly, everyone else scared me. At least Donny was a great first baseman for the Yankees.
